So the village gets to sit on that land for another of couple of years, if not decades.

Meh. 2019 . . . . we are building gas stations at a record pace in GE and car makers are running quickly in the opposite direction. In 20 years, most cars won't run on the stuff.

A quick charging station would make total sense. And no noxious fumes to affect the children!

Yup. With the numbers of Teslas zooming around town, a Supercharger would be nice. Woodman's in No. Aurora is a bit of a drive (Supercharger location). Thing is, GE isn't a pass through location, or a destination, so guessing that will never happen. Something on Roosevelt road would make more sense. Almost everyone in town driving electric has their own charging set up at home. Easy to do (unless you live in an apartment or condo w/o a garage).

There is some kind of charging station in front of the soon-to-be Pete's Fresh Market at Baker Hill.

Weird. I see no record of it on Plugshare or ChargeHub.

EDIT: Found it on Google "Car Chargers." So, it's a Volta. They're usually free, and L2. I might use that if it is open and I'm at Chicks and Salsa.
