I think this is a trend...

Hmmm. There seems to be a repeating theme going on here...

This is not a rivalry anymore, it is a beat down. Since 1992, the Packers are 41-14 against the Bears. People still ask me why I am a Packer fan and I turn the question around on them, why are you still a Bear fan?

But of course, most of the Bears fan base still modify Lovie Smith's quote by saying "If we went 2-14 and both wins were against the Packers, I would be happy."

    Go Pack Go!

Yeah, I said last night that we (Bears) find new ways each year to add to his deity status. This hasn't been a rivalry for many many years, same as Cards Cubs for years when the Cards dominated for 20 plus years.

I switched my football time to West 10 years ago, rather watch a good high school team than the Bears any day.

That fourth quarter was ugly, or beautiful, depending on one's perspective.

I would like to nominate Bry for a 2 week ban by the admins.

Aaron Rodgers is pretty good. If he had a defense over the last 8 years, his team would have won a few more Super Bowls. That and if they had a coach that thinks a 3 point lead in the middle of the 2nd quarter justifies playing ultra conservative and playing not to lose.

"Aaron, we are up by 3 in the 2nd quarter, lets run the ball and go three and out for the next 2 quarters and then you can try a comeback with 6 minutes to play. Good plan Aaron?"

    "FU Mike."

    Ya Think?

The chasm of talent at the QB position has been probably thee most critical difference between the two teams. Going back to 1992, the season Brett Favre took over for Don Majkowski as the Green Bay Packers' top quarterback, the Chicago Bears have rolled out 30 starting QBs during regular-season play. Over that same period, the Packers have had six quarterbacks make starts in the regular season, with Favre and Aaron Rodgers combining to dominate. And they have. Still.
