2018 Intelligentsia Cup event July 28

The Ray Whalen Builders Tour of Lake Ellyn is set for Saturday, July 28, from 9 Am till Dusk at Lake Ellyn Park. Food vendors, likely a beer area serving Alter Brewing selections (still pending), and action galore.

The Duncan Law Group Family Fun Ride will be at roughly 3 PM. Please fill out releases that can be found online at http://www.touroflakeellyn.com or in person at The Bike Hub on Main Street in downtown GE.

Clam-thanks for being such an important part in these races. It's great that it's continuing to come back to Glen Ellyn.

Are the stairs on the path leading up to the play area from the south clearly marked as stairs now? My ACL and meniscus are fully healed and ready to enjoy the day with my son.

Really???? They wouldn't do that just on account of me. How many people have taken a tumble on them?

I noticed it this Spring when jogging around Lake Ellyn. Your sacrifice has probably saved the knees and shins of countless children and GEM's

Tip of the helmet to Jim Burket and fellow Glen Ellyn residents on the Tour of Lake Ellyn Foundation Team: Anne Elliot, Chip Miller, Barry White and Tom Zurawski, for their time and effort.

And a nod to new title sponsor, Ray Whalen.

    Thank you!

Can I have one of the steps named after me?

The funniest thing about that fall was all the people after asking me if I was going to sue the village and how I should go talk to one of the big sponsors last year... HAH!
