2019 will not happen. 2025 will not happen. 2030 and I can believe I.C.E.'s will be history except for perhaps heavy equipment.

My plug-in is arriving next week. L2 charger installed and ready.

    agreed....Clam is too optimistic

Volvo's Electric Car Strategy Is Being Badly Misrepresented

“Volvo Cars has stated that it plans to have sold a total of 1 million electrified cars by 2025. When we said it, we meant it. This is how we are going to do it.”

Yet not a single word of that statement delivered a timetable, a path or a strategy to kill off internal-combustion engines.

"Volvo’s transition will be gradual. It plans to still produce existing models with conventional engines after 2019, but it will no longer introduce new models with the older technology. Depending on demand, Volvo will completely phase out cars powered solely by gasoline or diesel by around 2024." NYT article . . . they write real news. The gas station will be six years old in 2024. Bright side, hybrids still use gas. Maybe they can knock it down to ten pumps after all.

Look at all of the jobs Volvo is bringing to North Charleston, SC because of Trump.

The new Volvo facility must be moving along, I got a nice order for that location last week... BMW must be up to something in SC as I got an inquiry for them (I sell the equipment OEM, not Volvo/BMW/GM... direct) this week.
