Here is a video from last year with the legendary Brian May. Mr. May has probably the most recognizable guitar tone ever, and is my favorite guitar player of all time I think. The topic of the video is him talking about... wait for it... Extreme and Nuno Bettencourt. Yes, the lame More Than Words hair metal band from the 80's and 90's. What Brian says on this video is shocking to say the least to those that don't get 80's and 90's rock and the guitar players that were prettier than most of the girls at the show. Nuno is a bad mf'er on guitar, and one of the greatest to ever play the instrument give him massive props. Pretty cool.

    "A landmark in history." WOW.

It wasn't when you had to clean it, at 1am, with your girlfriend waiting and waiting for you.

If there was a guitar god, it would be Brian May. And to have him say that an Extreme song and solo is a landmark in rock history is just the highest compliment you could ever get. Nuno's playing with Extreme was out of this world, but they will always be the band that gave us More Than Words. This is off Waiting for the Punchline, which I think sold 10 copies (well, maybe a couple more than that). Nuno's tone is as distinquishable as Brian May's at this time.

The album cooks, but it they were tagged "Hair Metal" so there was nothing to see here, move along. Last link, to a song called No Respect, is pretty fitting to the band.

    May be a little NSFW.

La Marcheuse is just a freaking gorgeous tune. My head is swimming in 80's pop listening to this song. I am a big fan.

I have slipped into the hypnotic trance that CHRIStine and the Queens are sending out.
