Here's a tune to stoke you up for that next attempt to break 60 on the roundabout...

Most singers that work in this genre consider their vocals as an instrument instead of singing. I know it is annoying to many to hear these guy growl and the likes, but when you look at it as an instrument and not a vocal, you see a different view. Many of these guys have very good voices (last video shows this dude's range) and really, if you sing like Celion Dion during speed metal, it may sound more strange. Of if they threw down a "girl, I am gonna get you in my pickup truck grab some beers and head on down to the river and make sweet country love to you", more weird....

Mario Duplantier of Gorija is a monster drummer. Huge talent. at the 5:28 mark of the video above, he starts on playing 3 different time signatures. Listen closely, there is a lot going on there.

Caffeine free since 2011. One of the best things I ever did (that's not saying much is it?)

I've driving through Minnesota today...doing a Prince homage.

'58, gonna try for a winter Glen Ullin shot this trip...maybe some will still have their lights up!
