Torn whether this goes here or in the "Learn something new everyday" thread...

Accommodations have been made for the President's oversea trip to serve him his favorite meal at each dinner, well-done steak with ketchup. No comment.

I realize that the following link is very academic, but it is a good explanation of how we got here. Essentially the paper argues that the team mentality of political parties is making Americans hyperpartisan. Another interesting thing in the paper is that the researcher used "fake news", I bet they had no idea how big "fake news" would be 15 years later.

    Party over Policy

Look no further to sites like this, that have a "National" thread labeled: "I don't mean to start a fight, but the other party is out to ruin this country!"

    Now that is impeachment worthy.

I've never called for his impeachment or suggested it as a path...but if we find out it is actually catsup, draft those articles up!

"President Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office that James Comey's firing relieved "great pressure," calling him (Comey) a "nut job."

New York Times . . . five minutes ago.

Perhaps not. There was an article in the WSJ about it last month:

About 19% of diners prefer their meat well-done or very well-done, according to a 2014 study by the Cattlemen’s Beef Board. (That’s compared with the 30% who prefer medium-rare, the most popular preparation.)

"Is there any way to cook a well-done steak to please meat purists?"

“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

Mr. Trump added, “I’m not under investigation.”

Mr. Trump sheepishly added that he is likely now under investigation for saying why he fired Comey. Russian officials heartily laughed.
