This news made me smile - and proud of GE for having folks like Clamato willing to devote time, energy, and resources for the benefit of the Village.

That is a killer poster! Can't wait to see one in every downtown business and high traffic location.

My wife made a funny "knowing this town and it need for yard signs, when will we be getting one for the tour?"

Tommy used to work for/with me way back in the day!

And back in the mid-90s, Tom also designed the massive, 348 page historical encapsulation of Glenbard West football, "As the Backs go Tearing by," written by Joe Carlton.

I believe you can still buy it at Stacy's Corners gift shop, or, check it out at:

Very talented guy, very cool individual.

Where is the representation of the 12-pump 24-hour gas station?

I hear the Tour of Lake Ellyn is looking for people to volunteer to be course marshals. Easy job, you just stand there with a flag so nobody steps in front of the racers.

Volunteer information can be found here:

You can register as a volunteer here:

With all the energy and community focus on this BB, I'm sure there will be lots of posters signing up. What better way to show your support for the town then to donate a few hours of your time to help out.
