Looks like they focus on one thing, probably not a bad strategy. I find it funny how deep some companies hide their nutritional information...

Stan's Donuts (fake), but now, real, in L.A. Story here. And another good Stan article re: inclusion in Wayne's World II.

How cool was that? I completely missed that story in 2017, thanks for the post.

And what I completely missed, since I skimmed the story was that it was a very limited run. Why not keep it around for years? Can there be a more cool donut spot? No.

    Some would argue with that.

If "She knew everyone in town..." then many probably knew her...

Mary Rohrs started the Mother Goose Shop in downtown Glen Ellyn after her first husband was shot down over France during World War II, and ran the children’s clothing store for 33 years.

“She knew everyone in town, and liked what she was doing and liked interacting with the public,” said her son, John. “She was really good in the store.”

Rohrs, 96, died of natural causes July 22 at a hospital in Stoughton, Wis., her son said. She had lived in Glen Ellyn until moving to a senior living community in Wheaton in October.
Rohrs opened the Mother Goose Shop in 1945 in subleased space at the northeast corner of Main and Duane streets in a building that now houses an Einstein Bros. Bagels shop. In 1958, she moved the store to a larger space across the street, at the southeast corner of Main and Duane, in the one-story building that now is the home of the Fire + Wine restaurant.

Had tears when I read that story. Just about every piece of clothing my mom bought me from age one through about seven was purchased there. While I despise shopping for clothing these days (because nothing is made very well and I get frustrated), I can clearly remember enjoying shopping at Mother Goose and helping to pick out my own stuff. Especially the blue jeans with the reinforced knee patches. When I got a little older (like ten), then Dean Olsens was the place to be.

After I watched that clip, I was reminded of the fact that we just lost Matt "Guitar" Murphy two months ago.
