Oh, wow. I remember this young man from when he was at Ben Franklin with my oldest. That was a troubled family situation, for sure, but this is still shocking and sad.

Crime continues to not pay . . . . http://glenellyn.patch.com/articles/...tempted-murder
On Oct. 21, 2010, Kral entered a plea of guilty.... In exchange for his plea, the state agreed to cap their sentencing recommendation ...
Alejandro Roman, 20, of Chicago was previously sentenced to 14 years - and the third accomplice is uknown.
DuPage County State’s Attorney Bob Berlin cut a plea deal - and the third accomplice was not named?
What other possible bargaining chip did the defendant have, and what other possible desire would the people of Dupage have in this case, if not to identify and remove the third dangerous gang member from our community?
I believe Berlin is up for election this March. Definitely he predecessor, Joe Birkett, is seeking election to the chair that he was handed. Anyone want to bet that these two waltz thru the election?
The 3rd accomplice probably owns Girls, Girls which means a lifetime pass from prosecution.
That happened just down the block from my home, glad to see the yoot's are getting locked up.
These two seem rather intelligent

Barack Obama.
It seems that our local 39 year postman, Glenbard West alum and classmate of Tim Ayers has made a sworn statement to the court alleging that the Ayers family made claims on numerous occasions to have helped put Barack through school. He even met Barack (and seperately Bernardine Dohrn who lived at the home here in GE ) at the Ayer's home on one occasion after Obama took the train out from the city.

Jombl, why do we care if the Ayers helped pay for Barack Obama's education?
The issue of Obama's close professional ties to Ayer's was a centerpiece of Hillary Clinton's campaign, one that candidate Obama dismissed by replying to Hillary that Ayer's was "just some guy that lives in my neighborhood".
The Glen Ellyn connection with Obama traipsing over to Bernandine Dohrn and the Ayer's home was also interesting...
Okay... Just shows that Mr. & Mrs. Ayers supported their kids friends. I'm pretty sure the case against Ms. Dohrn was dismissed.
If you're going to toss the local mailman under the bus, can you fix the link?
It looks like the link is fine, but the site is down. Perhaps due to traffic?
Dohrn can't get licensed to practice law due to her criminal record, and the most serious charges against her and "Bill" were dismissed due to misconduct - coincidentally by the man at the FBI later to be revealed as "Deep Throat". A lucky break for them coming from some inside help and the best lawyers that Chicago wealth and power could buy.
Bill Ayers famous quote upon being freed? "Guilty as Hell, free as a bird".
Bernandine was herself notorious for this little cold-hearted incident:
Sharon Tate was 26 years old and just two weeks from giving birth when that fork celebrated by Bernadine Dohrn was plunged into her womb just a couple months or so earlier ....In a speech during the December 1969 "War Council" meeting organized by the Weathermen, attended by about 400 people in Flint, Michigan, Dohrn said, "First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into the pig Tate's stomach! Wild!"[14] In greeting each other, delegates to the war council often spread their fingers to signify the fork.[9]
In a 2001 Salon article, David Horowitz wrote: "In 1980, I taped interviews with 30 members of the Weather Underground who were present at the Flint War Council, including most of its leadership. Not one of them thought Dohrn was anything but deadly serious."
